My how we've grown!

Last week was our best week yet.  I was so impressed with how well everyone followed directions and listened to our group lessons.  This weekend your child brought home their reading bag.  Hopefully you found them in there and had a chance to read them together!  They are really getting to be great readers!

Columbia Manor

Our Penny drive is in full swing. We are collecting money to help purchase games, puzzles and snacks for the residents at Columbia Manor. We will collect pennies from now until May 1st. Feel free to send in any donations (checks, cash, change besides pennies) in addition to your pennies. The children will be participating in counting and totaling our donation. We would like to have lots of pennies so all kindergarteners can help participate in counting our donation! Thank you for your help with our Penny Drive!

This week's objectives:
Fundations:  Segmenting and blending words, digraphs: wh,ch, sh, th, ck

We had a guest reader on Friday.

We made our new bulletin board for spring.  We made a list of all things we see in spring then we made them with paper collage.

I am so amazed with how beautiful it turned out!!!  These little people are serious artists.
