Welcome Back!

Friday, January 5, 2018
Something magical seems to happen over the holiday break.  The kiddos leave sweet young kindergartens and when they return it's like they've grown up over night.  Their focus has increased as has their ability to grasp new concepts.  They are soaking it in at a rapid rate.  I am totally impressed with the quality of writing that I am seeing.  All this just after a couple weeks break.

Even though this week was only two days, we hit the ground running.  We jumped immediately back into our routines.  Here are our learning objectives for this short week.

Reading:  Using the picture as a clue to solve an unknown word
Writing:  Understanding the difference between a sentence, word and letter
Fundations:  letter formation A,B,C,D, segmenting and blending three letter words
Math:  Combinations to 10 using a 10's frame.
I don't have too many pictures.  We were really busy!  But I do have some from before break so I'll post those now too.
