We have begun our week of traditions! We read a book called, "The Legend of the Poinsettia" by Tomie Depaola. We learned about some of the traditions that are celebrated in Mexico during the month of December. Then we painted poinsettias to honor the traditions.
We began sharing our family traditions. Here are a few that we have heard about so far!
This friend wears holiday pajamas with her family. They stay in their pajamas all day on Christmas day and enjoy a cozy day together!
This friend has a special elf that visit's his house each year during the month of December. He does some silly things!
This friend visits, her Mimi's house each year to bake cookies and decorate the tree.
This friend hangs special ornaments on her tree with her family each year and remembers when they got each one.
This friend has a funny elf that comes to visit. He shared some pictures of the silly things that his elf has done!
