Chicks!

Friday, April 12, 2019
We had a fun surprise visit from chicks this week!  The kids were so excited to see their little fluffy selves.  We talked about the life cycle of a chicken and watched a real time video of a chick hatching out of an egg.  It was a pretty great experience.

Thank you so much to all that have sent in money for our penny drive!  Our class has collected over 50$ as of today!  We will really be able to buy some wonderful things for our friends at Columbia Manor.  Keep those pennies coming!

The end of the year is fast approaching.  I can hardly believe it as I type.  We invite you to our kindergarten celebration.  This will be on the Friday before the last day of school.  With the last day of school being on Tuesday, we understand that many of you may already have trips planned so we wanted to make sure most could be there.  We will have a special program for you and you are invited to bring a picnic lunch and eat with your child following the program.  It is always a really sweet way to end our year together.  Look in the Friday Folder for more information.

We have a couple things coming up.  We will be doing our science project with Mrs. Fitch and we will also be tie dyeing as well.  We will need some volunteers to help with those.  Please use this link to sign up to help.  Thanks to those that have already signed up!
